Whether you complete one of these hikes or all three, it deserves to be remembered. Do it in a unique way with the Triple Crown watch bands.
The Appalachian Trail
Usually the first thru-hike of the Triple Crown, this trail takes 4 - 6 months to complete and totals 2,190 miles. This trail may be the shortest of the three, but it's no less difficult. Hikers of this trail will gain and lose over 89 miles of elevation. That's equivalent to climbing Everest 16 times. With a 25% success rate, a completed hike of the Appalachian Trail is an accomplishment to be proud of.
The Continental Divide Trail
Notorious for being the hardest of the three trails, the Continental Divide Trail features navigational challenges, significant weather differences, and long stretches with no water. Spanning 3,100 miles, this trail starts at the Mexico border and ends in Canada. With completion taking around 5 - 6 months, this is definitely an event worth remembering.
The Pacific Crest Trail
Ranging 2,650 miles, the Pacific Crest trail weaves hikers through the wilderness of the West Coast, finishing at the Canadian border. Known for being the prettiest of all three hikes, the Pacific Crest Trail views never disappoint. Taking a hiker about 5 - 6 months to complete, this trail passes through 6 national parks, making it a worthwhile endeavor for any outdoor adventurer.
