Given the five themes to choose from, I selected “Discover Space” because simplifying astronomical objects into a toy for infants sounded challenging, and would stretch my creativity.
For my designs I wanted to use soft, pastel colors. These types of colors invoke a sense of higher quality, and present a feeling of calmness rather than chaos.

Soothing Line
Offering soft, rubber protrusions for massaging a newborn's gums, this playful satellite is easily grasped once motor skills develop. With four different areas to chew on, this teether provides variety while remaining simple.
On the Go Line
Inspired by “The Teething Egg,” this teether consists of ultra-round edges and a hollow bottom to allow easy soothing for both top and bottom gums, while the clip adds an easy way for the mother to attach the teether to clothing or wraps.
Cooling Line
Consisting of three teethers, the Cooling Line uses stainless steel technology to soothe the baby’s gums. Based off of “Toofeze” each teether is able to be partially submerged in cold water while the grasping portion remains room temperature.
Line to Chew
Designed to reach all the areas of the mouth, these teethers offer various surface protrusions to provide different stimuli. They are made of the same soft, rubber material and are easily handled by the infant in earlier stages of development.
Sensory Line
Consisting of one teether, the Sensory Line is able to stimulate most of the baby’s senses with sound, colors, and textures. This teether offers various surface finishes, such as hard plastic, soft rubber, and water-filled cooling technology. It is easily grasped via the plastic handle, and can be shaken to produce a rattling sound.
